    • Key role in the acquisition and development of the processing techniques for a unique, large, complex dataset, which inlcluded programming new software applications for its processing and analysis in Fortran, C and through shell scripts under both Solaris and Linux.

    Education

    MSc, Advanced Course in Geophysics, University of Durham
    This course developed my understanding of many geophysical methods and techniques, including seismic reflection and refraction, gravity, magnetic and electrical methods. My project was completed with the United States Geological Survey, looking at shallow seismology from Kilauea volcano, Hawaii.
    October 1994 - June 1997
    BA, Natural Sciences, University of Cambridge. 'Upgraded' to MA in May 2001. Subjects studied included Computer Science, Maths, Geology, Mineralogy and Geophysics.
    September 1987 - June 1994
    Cardiff High School. 11 GCSE including Maths and English. 4 A Levels including Maths (A) and Computing (A).
